Delicious allergy friendly donuts, they're dairy free, egg free, nut free, and can easily be made gluten free, they're vegan too
Serves: 12
  • ¾ cup plain flour
  • ⅓ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 60g Nuttalex, melted
  • 3 tbsp aquafaba - I used Butter Beans
  • 120ml oat milk
  • cooking oil spray to grease - I used coconut oil spray
  1. Preheat oven to 180c
  2. Grease 6 hole donut tray with cooking oil
  3. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder into large mixing bowl
  4. Add melted Nuttalex, aquafaba and oat milk, whisk to combine
  5. Spoon ½ of the mix into a ziplock bag (or piping bag), cut the corner of the bag off, approx 2cm from corner
  6. Pipe mix evenly into tray holes, as you can see from the photos of my first attempts, I'm yet to master it cleanly!
  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden
  8. Cool in tin for 1 minute then turn out onto bench
  9. Wash and dry tray and repeat with remaining mix
  10. Decorate as you wish, Ice once cool, or while warm brush with extra melted Nuttalex and toss in a mix of ½ cup caster sugar & 1 tsp ground cinnamon
